About Me
Jeremy Chamberlain, Ph.D.
As an eco-physiologist, my research interests are broad but focus on physiological responses of animals to environmental change. Most of my current work examines variation in energy allocation patterns to components of the life-history.
As a herpetologist, my research often utilizes reptile and amphibian models, as these taxonomic groups are under-represented in ecological and physiological research (plus they're freaking cool).
Additionally, I am interested in exploring the distribution of reptiles and amphibians in Arkansas and the surrounding area, with a focus on conservation and public outreach.
“Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit, and as vital to our lives as water and good bread.” Edward Abbey
